GIL Charitable Trust
The GIL Charitable Trust was founded in 2010 by David Grove OBE and aims to support organisations which improve the quality of lives of individuals. In particular, it promotes its founder’s aim to help individuals to engage in work and contribute to society. It is, therefore, very supportive of charities involved in training, apprenticeships and education.
The Trust is only able to make donations to registered charities, and typically makes small grants on an annual basis to carefully-selected charities involved in the provision of the above services.
Applications for Grants
The trustees are not remunerated for their work and the Trust has no employees. As such the trustees respectfully request that any potential beneficiary charities contact them in writing at the registered address, setting out their key areas of focus and reasons why they meet our criteria. The trustees may not be able to respond to every letter but be assured that every application is read and assessed.
