Davicon expands with acquisition

Davicon Mezzanine Floors, the Brierley Hill-based designer, manufacturer and installer of mezzanine flooring, has completed the acquisition of Trison Holdings (also known as DeMet Colourcoat), a small local fabricator with laser-cutting and powder-coating capabilities.

Jonathon Grove, Investment Director at GIL said:

“This small but important acquisition represents another step forward in the continued development of Davicon under the leadership of Peter Watson and his team. We continue to seek appropriate bolt-on opportunities for all portfolio businesses and Trison is an excellent fit for Davicon.”

Davicon was acquired from Welconstruct Plc in late 2009 after the business went into administration. The business has been profitable every year since the acquisition and continues to explore organic and acquisitional opportunities for growth.
