Davicon is the only supplier who manufacture mezzanine floors and support steelwork in-house, using the latest 3D-CAD/NC technology. This, coupled with the talents of a highly experienced design team, means that Davicon is able to exactly match customer requirements, offer competitive quotations, reduced lead times and complete control over the quality and delivery of its products. Moreover, all Davicon mezzanine floors conform to British standards and all of the latest EU regulations.
Davicon has designed, manufactured and installed mezzanine floors for all kinds of applications, automated warehouse, distribution, commercial office, production, retail, self storage and storage. Customer portfolio includes numerous large, well-known and respected companies, including British Gas, Morrisons, John Lewis, BMW and New Look, Sainsburys, Tesco, River Island, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), Superdry, ASDA and many more recognised brands.
Davicon was acquired by GIL in 2009 when its parent company Welconstruct went into administration. GIL funded an accelerated acquisition process which several years later has resulted in a debt-free, profitable business with a strong and enthusiastic management team led by Peter Watson. In April Davicon made its first bolt-on acquisition, funding the buyout of De-Met Colourcoat from a private owners and investing in new machinery and premises to help grow the powder-coating and small-scale fabrication business.
